About Echotailor

Echotailor is a US based sound design boutique with a passion for vintage synths, samplers, drum machines and everyting in between. Its mission is to create unique and exceptional audio production assets that inspire artists to make great music. 

Echotailor founder J. F. McKiever got his start producing and composing songs for international brands in need of avante-garde electronic music (Marc Jacobs Int, 2k Games, Under Armour and more). In parallel, he produced a number of critically aclaimed albums via the indepenedent record label Fonetap Music.

McKiever is a lover of classic synths, his favorites being the Moog Modular System and the Prophet-5. His favorite softsynths are anything made by u-he. When not enjoying family life, you'll find him in his studio working on his next big project. At the moment he is currently developing Echotailor's upcoming preset library.
